Delightful Chocolate Depression Cake
Parts needed: 1 50/50 ounces of all-purpose flour
One cup of sugar
1/3 cup chocolate powder without sugar
One teaspoon of baking soda and half a teaspoon of salt
a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
one teaspoon of white vinegar
one-third cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of water
2-Tspoons of butter
1/3 cup chocolate powder without sugar
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of milk (or cream)
1.5 milliliters of vanilla essence

Instructions
In a large mixing basin, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
Mix the oil, vinegar, water, and vanilla in a separate basin. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ones, then stir until smooth.
In a greased 8×8 square pan, pour the batter.
Wait 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, after preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Make sure the cake is totally cooled before you frost it.
for the icing
To melt the butter, use a small saucepan or a microwave-safe dish. The liquid will thicken into a paste when you stir in the chocolate powder.
The chocolate mixture should be transferred to a medium-sized mixing basin. Mix in the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract while the mixer is set at low speed.
After everything is combined, increase the mixer's speed to medium-high and beat for about 5 minutes, or until the frosting is fluffy and smooth. Apply to the cooled cake.
